Series FP53L Pressure Relief Valves for Fire Protection Applications are designed for use in fire protection grid systems to provide protection against excessive water pressure caused by thermal expansion or line surge. It consists of a bronze body construction with NPT threaded male inlet and NPT threaded female (drain) outlet connections, stainless steel spring, and test lever. Series FP53L is UL listed and has a standard 175psi (12.25 bar) pressure relief setting.
